What sizes of PacVoid pods are available?

One of the key benefits to the PacVoid system is the relationship between PacVoid and the slab design.

In conjunction with Structerre Engineering Consultants slab designs are engineered to suit PacVoid’s system. PacVoid void formers come in 6 different sizes, which incidentally can be combined to create all size requirements at 100mm increments:

It’s essentially paint by numbers system, place by numbers is more accurate. There is no oversupply or wastage of any kind, the slab is designed to suit these sizes and it is a matter of laying corresponding size voids in the location marked on the plans.

Why should you not use traditional waffle pods?

Polystyrene we know is bad for the environment directly, but when used as Waffle pods it has secondary environmental inefficiencies. To supply Waffle pods in construction of a concrete slab they must be delivered to site and then again, a truck must return to that same site to collect the debris not used. For this one product there are two trucks that must visit them same site. Waffle POD suppliers price point & continued increased import cost of raw materials & freight costs makes wide scale competitiveness difficult to maintain.
